Hocus PEOTUS

I'm sure by now you've all seen the speech Meryl Streep gave at the Congratulatory Circle Jerk of Acting Awards last night.

What a speech. She'd lost her voice, but she still made herself heard.
Yes, she called out Donald Trump on his mimicking of a disabled reporter during his campaign. She could have called him out on lots of other things too, but a five hour speech would probably have been considered excessive. Anyway, there was no doubt as to which side her bread is buttered on and she had the guts to say a few things that others might not have done publicly.
Trump's supporters have said that celebrities shouldn't interfere in politics. Yes, really. They're that stupid.
I say that a celebrity using their position to raise important issues like this is a good thing. Think Leo DiCaprio and his climate change speech or Emma Watson championing feminism.
Trump is a potential menace to the whole of the world and the fact that more people aren't speaking out against him and trying to stop him is baffling.
The most powerful position in the Western World surely cannot be held by a fascist with a Shredded Wheat on his head who thinks it's ok to grab women's genitals like a bowling bowl. It can't happen.
And you know it's really bad when you see other people's reactions to Streep's speech.
The camera panned around the theatre as she spoke and lots of famous heads nodded in agreement.
But which one stood out to me as being one of the most concerned faces?
It was Mel Gibson.
Mel “Sugartits” Gibson.
If Hollywood's leading anti-Semite thinks Trump is bad then how fucking bad must he be?
