I’m on a train on my way to London the day after another terrorist incident in the capital.

That’s yet another terrorist incident. They are too commonplace now. Will it ever improve? No, probably not. At least not any time soon.

But I’m not about to let an absolute minority of dickheads get in the way of me having fun. Anyway, I’m staying in Bethnal Green and if any tit-end with a bomb were to turn up there they’d probably think that someone had already beaten them to it, so I’ll be pretty safe.

I’m not here to rant about terrorists as I’m sure we can all agree that they are absolute cunts, one and all.

No, I’m bothered by people’s reactions. As usual social media was full of the usual goose-stepping idiots demanding we close our borders to anyone with even a slightly off-white face and blaming anyone and everyone with liberal leanings for creating this problem. So years of interfering in Middle Eastern matters which had nothing to do with us, exploiting their resources and doing “what’s best” for the region hasn’t angered anyone then? And the Blair/Bush illegal war which allowed the formation of ISIS isn’t to blame either? Oh yeah and then we armed the terrorist groups because it doesn’t matter who you sell bombs and guns to does it? Just as long as the rich can keep getting richer.

And why does anyone think that vilifying people because of a race, colour, culture or religion will help? Some absolute helmet I used to work for said: “All Muslims have the potential to be radicalised.” Great point. And all the sweets in a tin of Quality Street have the potential to be Toffee Pennies too. You absolute shitlord.

Hating millions because of the actions of a very few people is ludicrous. Are white men seen as evil and threatened to be banned from countries because every single mass shooting in the US is perpetrated by this group? No. Was it ever suggested that all Irish people should be banned from Britain when the IRA were blowing shit up for fun? No. Because white people aren’t evil.

Really? Take a look around. The most evil people I can think of are white: Donald Trump, Rupert Murdoch, Theresa May, Phil Collins. These are the people hell bent on destroying modern society for their own gain, but as long as there’s another scapegoat nobody cares.

I’m not saying that carrying on as usual and lighting candles and changing your avatar on Twitter or Facebook to announce that you stand with the people of a city or country recently affected by terror is the way to beat it either.

There’s a solution, there has to be. I haven’t got the first idea what it is though. Have you? If you do, send your answers on a postcard.
